You have a constitution characterized by deficiency in both yin and yang. Yin deficiency can lead to rising deficiency-fire, resulting in symptoms such as dry throat, sore throat, and swollen, painful gums. Yang deficiency may cause aversion to cold, low energy, and negative emotions, among other symptoms. Based on the founder’s clinical experience, individuals with both yin and yang deficiencies should first nourish yin before tonifying yang. If yang is tonified first, it may lead to yin deficiency transforming into fire, causing deficiency-heat—commonly known as “deficiency unable to receive tonification.” Many people mistakenly use herbal teas over the long term to address deficiency-heat, unaware that these teas clear heat but do not nourish yin. They may temporarily alleviate deficiency-fire but cannot improve the underlying yin-deficient constitution. It is recommended to regularly consume “Yin Yang Shuang Quan,” or first drink “Xi De Zi Yin” to improve yin deficiency. Once the yin-deficient constitution is improved, follow up with “Yuan Qi Chong Man” to greatly tonify qi, helping the body restore a healthy state of yin-yang balance.
